DESCRIPTION
Upgrade your intake system with the do88 Performance Turbo Intake System. The LF-100B-FILTER fits Saab 9-3 2.8T V6 (2006–2011).
This high-performance intake system is designed for the Saab 9-3 SS / SC 2.8T V6 and is ideal for high-horsepower applications where maximum airflow is required.
The kit includes a precision-engineered heat shield, a custom-molded silicone hose, rubber sealing, and all necessary installation hardware. An optional BMC Twin Air high-flow air filter can be added.
Airflow performance was verified on a SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench, where the do88 intake system significantly outperformed the OEM intake. The custom silicone hose features an integrated 3.5" stainless steel collar and is designed to mate perfectly with the do88 89 mm (3.5") turbo inlet pipe.
The included heat shield creates an effective barrier between the air filter and engine bay heat. Combined with rubber sealing, it isolates the filter from hot air while allowing efficient cold air supply from the front grille intake.
Airflow can be further improved by replacing the factory air guide with the do88 air ducting hose (Part No. AD89), allowing air to be routed from a preferred front-mounted location.
At a pressure drop of 0.125 bar (1.81 psi), the do88 turbo inlet pipe flows 664 CFM*, compared to 560 CFM for the OEM air box and inlet pipe.
*Measured using the optional AEM DryFlow air filter. Airflow results may vary depending on filter type.
The factory intake system is designed for stock power levels. Increased power can overwhelm the OEM intake, restricting airflow and limiting performance gains. Even on vehicles with software tuning alone, the do88 intake system provides a measurable improvement.
The do88 intake system is supplied as a complete package with all components required for installation.
