Upgrade charge-air cooling with the do88 Performance Intercooler. ICM-350-S fits BMW 135i / 335i N54 / N55 (E82 / E88 / E9X) 2007–2013.

do88 performance intercooler designed for an easy fitment in your BMW.

Significant advantages of the do88 performance intercooler compared to the OEM intercooler:
- Greater core volume: 15,517 cm³ (OEM: 6,933 cm³), 124% larger
- Larger frontal cooling area: 1,151 cm² vs 658 cm², 75% larger
- Airflow at 0.15 bar (2.18 psi) pressure drop: 498 CFM (OEM: 354 CFM), 41% higher
- Peak power gain of 13 hp (measured on 335xi N55 with Stage 1 tune)
- Lower post-intercooler air temperature under identical conditions: 43 °C (OEM: 58 °C), 15 °C lower (measured on 335xi N55, stock except intercooler)

This intercooler is engineered to deliver excellent cooling efficiency under demanding conditions. Manufactured exclusively from aluminum with continuous welds, it ensures durability and reliability. The increased core volume improves cooling efficiency and reduces intake air temperatures.

As a do88 performance product, this intercooler has undergone extensive and continuous testing during development to ensure maximum performance without compromise. The design is optimized for the available space, allowing for an easy fitment.

The OEM intercooler uses quick-click hose connections that restrict airflow and can be unreliable at higher boost levels. It also features rubber hoses and a plastic J-pipe (intercooler outlet pipe). The do88 intercooler replaces these with conventional Ø3" (76 mm) hose connections, reinforced silicone hoses, and a Ø2.5" (63 mm) mandrel-bent aluminum J-pipe.

The included J-pipe is compatible with the factory charge pipe as well as any aftermarket charge pipe designed to work with the OEM plastic J-pipe. These improvements result in better cooling efficiency, reduced pressure drop, and a more reliable intercooler setup for high-boost applications.

The 124% increase in core volume delivers a clearly noticeable improvement. Engine performance remains strong throughout the rev range and during repeated full-throttle operation without heat buildup. Even on stock vehicles, hot climates or repeated acceleration can generate excessive intake air temperatures with the OEM intercooler.

To install the large stepped-core intercooler, the factory plastic air guide must be trimmed (see instructions). To prevent airflow from bypassing the core after trimming, do88 includes a redesigned plastic air guide that mounts on top of the intercooler core.

This intercooler is supplied with everything required for installation, including bolts, washers, silicone hoses, clamps, J-pipe, air guide, and installation instructions.
