This high-performance intercooler is developed by do88 as a direct replacement for the OEM intercooler and provides a true performance upgrade without the need for major vehicle modifications.

The OEM intercooler is designed for factory power levels. Increased power output or aggressive driving can overwhelm the stock intercooler, resulting in higher intake temperatures and reduced performance. After an engine software tune, the do88 intercooler delivers a clear performance improvement over the OEM unit.
Unlike the OEM intercooler with plastic end tanks, the do88 intercooler improves durability and reliability, especially under higher boost pressures.
The do88 intercooler features 2.5" (63 mm) hose connections instead of the OEM 2.25" (57 mm). The larger diameter improves airflow significantly; therefore, two silicone hoses are included to replace the OEM inlet and outlet intercooler hoses.
Contrary to common belief, an intercooler mounted in the original location can outperform many front-mounted intercooler (FMIC) setups. FMIC installations are often limited in core size or partially obstructed by the bumper beam, reducing cooling efficiency.
Installation:
The do88 intercooler is supplied with all brackets and hardware required for installation, including mounts for the radiator, AC condenser, and air guides. Installation instructions based on the Saab 9-3 platform are included for reference.
