Upgrade the braking performance of your 07-11 Nissan GT-R R35 CBA 380mm with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A1-249.
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the factory rotors on 2007-11 CBA cars.
The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc itself is made from cast iron, built to the same specification and material used by professional racing organizations. It features a curved vane design, developed in racing, which acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat use a floating mount system with 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured to Girodisc specifications and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins handle braking loads while maintaining axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured with class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers. Anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side allow thermal expansion while eliminating rattle, and the floating system ensures the rotor self-centers between the pads.
Once the Girodisc system is installed, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
When paired with performance pads and hi-temp fluid, this setup provides an exceptional solution to overheating and warping rotors.
