Upgrade the braking performance of your 2021+ Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A1-318.
These Girodisc 2-piece rotors are a direct replacement for the front rotors on the CT4-V Blackwing. Our fully floating assemblies help reduce unsprung weight and rotating mass from the front axle, improving braking performance and handling.
The rotor rings are machined from a proprietary high-carbon iron casting formulated to Girodisc’s specifications. The 72 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump, pulling air in through the hub to effectively cool the rotors under hard use. The 2-piece design allows the hat to be reused with new rings (part number D1-066) when replacement is needed.
All major components, including hats, rotor rings, and drive pins, are manufactured in-house at our Bellingham, WA facility using domestically sourced materials. The hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. Drive pins are high-strength steel alloy and cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. Rotors are assembled with spring clips and Belleville washers for race-ready float while remaining street-friendly, with no noise from loose hardware.
The minimum thickness for replacing the rings is 32mm. Replacement is also recommended if a crack reaches the edge of the ring.
