Upgrade the braking performance of your 2020+ Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C8 with factory iron rotors using Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A1-319.
These Girodisc 2-piece rotors are a direct replacement for the front rotors on the Corvette C8 Z06 without the Z07 carbon ceramic brakes. Our fully floating assemblies help reduce unsprung weight and rotating mass from the front axle, improving braking performance and handling.
The rotor rings are machined from a proprietary high-carbon iron casting formulated to Girodisc’s specifications. The 72 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump, pulling air in through the hub to effectively cool the rotors under hard use. The 2-piece design allows the hat to be reused with new rings (part number D1-147) when replacement is needed.
All major components—including hats, rotor rings, and drive pins—are manufactured in-house at our Bellingham, WA facility using domestically sourced materials. The hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. Drive pins are high-strength steel alloy and cadmium-plated for corrosion resistance. Rotors are assembled with spring clips and Belleville washers for race-ready float while remaining street-friendly, with no noise from loose hardware.
The minimum thickness for replacing the rings is 32mm. Replacement is also recommended if a crack reaches the edge of the ring.
