Upgrade the braking performance of your 08-16 Audi S4/S5 B8 (Zinc Plated) with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A2-130.
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc—no modifications are required. The rotor bolts directly to the car and works seamlessly with the OE calipers. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight, high-performance replacements instead of a big brake kit, your factory brake bias and ABS efficiency are maintained. The significant reduction in rotational and unsprung weight also improves acceleration and suspension response.
The central hat section of our rotor is precision-machined from strictly U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is cast from Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and fully machined in-house. The rotor features a curved vane design, originally developed for racing, which acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat are connected with a floating mount system, utilizing 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to our exact specifications. The pins are cadmium-plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance and secured with class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers. Anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side prevent cold rattle while allowing thermal expansion and ensuring the rotor self-centers between the pads.
Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
