DESCRIPTION
Upgrade the braking performance of your Porsche 911 Turbo/Turbo S (991 Excl PCCB) with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A2-155.
The rotor and hat feature a floating mount system that utilizes 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc to our specifications and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins absorb the load from braking while maintaining axial and radial float between the hat and disc. To prevent noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side, allowing the rotor to expand with heat while eliminating the rattle and noise commonly associated with floating rotors. This design also allows the rotor to self-center between the pads.
Once the Girodisc system is installed, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
When paired with performance pads and hi-temp fluid, this setup provides an exceptional solution to overheating or warping rotors.
