Upgrade the braking performance of your 2012-2019 Ford Focus RS Mk III with Girodisc 2-piece Brake Rotors A2-169.
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE disc. No modifications are required—the rotors bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly. By upgrading with lightweight, high-performance replacements instead of a big brake kit, you maintain factory brake bias and ABS efficiency.
The central hat section is made from strictly U.S.-sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is Girodisc’s proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined entirely in-house.
The rotor and hat are joined with a floating mount system that uses 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured in the USA to Girodisc specifications and cadmium plated for long-lasting corrosion resistance. These pins carry braking loads while maintaining both axial and radial float between the hat and disc. They are secured with class 12.9 cap screws and hardened washers. To eliminate noise when cold, anti-noise spring washers are installed on the rotor side. These allow for thermal expansion while preventing rattle and ensuring the rotor self-centers between the pads.
Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
