DESCRIPTION
Replace worn out or failing P2R M66 Passenger Side Axles with IPD's new replacement axle. 142678 is designed to fit all P2R M66 Front Right (Passenger) axles.
IPD developed a direct replacement M66 Front Right Axle, using the OEM unit as a baseline to ensure precise fitment and geometry. Rather than simply copying the factory design, IPD re-engineered critical components to better meet the demands of high-power Volvo applications.
- Stronger tripod-style inner joint replaces the OEM-style Rzeppa ball-and-cage joint; ideal for lowered vehicles with minimal angle articulation but requiring greater plunge capability
- Additional roller bearings beneath each tripod roller improve long-term wear resistance and reduce friction
- Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) outer boot offers superior resistance to UV exposure, heat, moisture, and cracking over time compared to rubber
- Neoprene inner boot is designed to flex with plunge articulation without fatiguing prematurely
- Weld-free inner axle construction, with the tripod cup and stub axle machined from a single piece to eliminate structural weak points
- Heavy-duty sealed carrier bearing for improved durability under high loads
This axle is a robust upgrade for performance-focused builds or lowered setups where OEM designs fall short.
