DESCRIPTION
Improve your Mercedes-Benz's handling performance, steering precision and gearbox shifting with a Powerflex PFF40-601BLK bushing. PFF40-601BLK fits models in Position #1 in the Bushing Position Diagram.
These urethane performance bushings replace the stock rubber lower control arm bushings on the Mercedes W202 C-class, W208 CLK, and R170 SLK models. Stock rubber control arm bushings give a disconnected and mushy feel to the front suspension, especially when worn as the bushing deflects more than it should. You get sloppy steering, vibrations, and poor handling which makes the car feel unstable. These urethane bushings are stiffer than stock rubber and will not deflect as much. This helps keep the alignment in check with less variation. The car feels more planted and confidence-inspiring. And a limited lifetime warranty means you'll likely never have to pay for another bushing ever again (applies to Street bushings only, see warranty page for complete info).
Sold as a pair for the front bushings on the lower control arms (see diagram). Replaces Mercedes part #1703300107A.
These work best when used with the Powerflex bushings in the rear of the control arm (PFF40-602). Powerflex has carefully engineered the bushing materials to work together on this Mercedes front control arm to give you the right amount of precision without undue harshness or vibration.

PowerflexUSA does not have a time-based warranty policy because issues that customers have are always an opportunity to learn. Where a problem has occurred due to incorrect fitting, we have always asked if the reason for the error was due to poor fitting instructions. When a part fails, we strive to understand if the part is being used outside of its design parameters. And like all manufacturing we have had the occasional material quality issue and in these cases, we have always replaced parts without question.

- Contact Powerflex USA directly via their online Warranty Page.
- Note the ViVA Performance Order ID associated with the bushing; including details of the installation and any changes made, with photos of the failed part.
- The Warranty only applies to parts purchased from ViVA Performance.
- The Warranty is limited to the replacement of suspension bushings supplied.
- There is no Warranty coverage for consequential part failure or labor for installation.
- The Warranty applies to the original purchaser only, no exceptions.
