DESCRIPTION
Upgrade charge-air cooling with the do88 Intercooler. ICM-300-B fits Audi/Seat/Skoda/Volkswagen 1.8T/2.0T (MQB).
This is a self-developed performance intercooler from do88, designed for an easy drop-in installation on Audi, SEAT, Skoda, and VW 1.8 TSI / 2.0 TSI (MQB) platforms.
Significant advantages of the do88 performance intercooler compared to the VW Golf GTI OEM intercooler:
- Greater core volume: 15,347 cm3 (OEM 7,719 cm3); 99% larger
- Larger active cooling area: 2,692 cm2 vs OEM 2,573 cm2; 5% larger
- Airflow at 0.15 bar / 2.18 psi pressure drop: 455 CFM (OEM 310 CFM); 47% higher
- Lower post-intercooler air temperature under identical conditions: do88 24°C (OEM 36°C); 12°C lower

This intercooler is engineered to deliver maximum cooling efficiency under demanding conditions. Manufactured entirely from aluminum with continuous welds, it guarantees reliability and durability when it matters most. The increased core volume improves cooling efficiency and reduces intake air temperatures.
As with all do88 performance products, this intercooler has undergone extensive and demanding testing throughout development. No compromises have been made. It is fully optimized for the available space, ensuring true drop-in fitment.
The 99% increase in core volume is a remarkable and clearly noticeable improvement. The engine pulls harder throughout the rev range and withstands repeated full-throttle runs without heat buildup.
The common belief that an intercooler upgrade is only necessary after major engine tuning is misleading. Even on a completely stock vehicle, repeated acceleration, spirited driving, or operation in warm climates can quickly raise intake air temperatures to levels that reduce usable power. OEM intercoolers often lack the cooling capacity required to maintain consistent performance.
With the do88 intercooler installed, excess heat is effectively eliminated, ensuring that engine output remains consistent whenever throttle is applied. Power is there when you need it, every time.
This intercooler is supplied with everything required for a straightforward installation, with no cutting or permanent modification to the vehicle structure unless otherwise stated below. All bolts, washers, and detailed mounting instructions are included.
